About The Wine
This is very structured and framed with an almost red sensibility. Very phenolic. Full-bodied in a tightly wound ball with so much going on. Very pinot like. Mineral and stone. Shell and stone. Iodine. Vinous. The bubbles just fade into the finish of the wine, which goes on for minutes. Turns to toffee and salted caramel with time in the glass. One for the cellar. Great length. JS

Food Match
A good marriage of food and wine ideally provides more pleasure than enjoying either one separately. As each of us have different sensitivities to various flavours and preferences, the definition of 'perfect pairing' varies, and this makes up the fun part of food and wine pairing.

WOW in every SIP!

I finally got my hands on the Pol Roger Sir Winston Churchill 2008, and let me tell you—it was something else. The moment I poured it, I could smell the mix of warm pie crust, dried ginger, and hints of baked apple. It was inviting but also so sophisticated.

WOW in every SIP!

Okay, so I have to admit, opening a bottle of Krug Clos d'Ambonnay 2002 felt like stepping into the big leagues of Champagne. With a price tag like that, I was half nervous and half giddy—but wow, this was an experience.
